“Dark money” is political spending by groups who don’t disclose their funding sources. In 2020, Alaskans passed a law to fight back against dark money spending by requiring campaign finance disclosures and greater transparency.
Now, Alaska has some of the toughest campaign finance laws in the country.
Under Alaska’s Elections:
“Open primaries let Alaskans choose values over party. More than half of voters in the 2022 midterm primaries split their tickets between candidates from across the political spectrum”
– The Alaska Beacon, 4/3/2024
The Alaska System puts people over party, and it puts YOUR voice above dark money dollars. Our elections should be about choosing the best candidate, regardless of party. Alaskans should always come first, not second to Outside special interest groups with unlimited dark money campaign cash.
Help protect our hard-won freedoms and join the movement to keep the power in the voters’ hands
Giving all Alaskans the chance to vote for the best candidate in every race, regardless of party, and banning “dark money” in Alaska elections.
In 2024, Alaskans voted NO when special interest groups tried to take away our system.
Now, special interest groups are trying to undermine Alaskans again.
Vote NO on Ballot Measure 2 to protect Alaska’s elections and keep the power and freedom in YOUR hands.
This campaign represents a coalition of community groups, civic organizations, and individual Alaskans from across the political spectrum and all over the state. Would you like a member of the coalition to speak to your organization or group about protecting voter freedom?
